Broken Promises of a Power Plant

Author and activist Maureen Ruhl has been taking on Bechtel Energy, the Clinton County Economic Partnership, the Clinton County Commissioners, Stephanie Borowicz, and others in her fight to stop a power plant from being dropped in the center of a town of fewer than 1,000 people. Many promises have been made of a better tomorrow but at what cost? It's funny these same people involved passed on the opportunity to be placed in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania where they all reside, but it's okay to shove it down their rivals' throats. Not good enough for Lock Haven, but good enough for Renovo. That sounds about right, but why is no one listening to the facts? Why is this town so ready to sabotage itself to benefit others? Listen to one man's testimony of what living next to a power plant is really like!

NOTE: I have been having issues uploading the video but you can watch it HERE!!
